A contemporary artist whose work spans modern, abstract, mixed-media, and Islamic art.
Dr. Durdana Syed holds a PhD in Fine Arts from Aligarh Muslim University. Her artistic practice encompasses a diverse range of subjects and styles, including modern and abstract works, alongside explorations of spiritual and cultural themes.
In recent years, her work has also focused on Islamic art and calligraphy, interpreted through a contemporary visual language.
Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including private exhibitions in the United Kingdom, exhibitions at the Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi, and showcases in other parts of India.
